Daniela Darcourt discusses new romance and past relationships

Peruvian salsa singer Daniela Darcourt has shared details regarding her current relationship and her views on past romances. During an appearance on the podcast ‘¿Qué puede salir mal?’, Darcourt confirmed she has been in a relationship with Juan Labarca, a member of the group Zaperoko, since approximately February.

Darcourt revealed that the couple met coincidentally at a wedding where she served as a godmother, noting that it was also Labarca’s birthday. Regarding relationship dynamics, the singer stated she prefers to share economic responsibilities to avoid future conflicts, rejecting the idea that a man should be the sole provider.

Addressing her past, Darcourt distanced herself from her former relationship with Waldir Felipa, stating that the chapter is closed and she does not owe the public explanations about her private life. She also noted that a lack of integrity or ‘not having one’s word’ is a trait that causes her to lose interest in a partner.
