Daniela Sánchez Delgado clarifies she is not missing

Daniela Sánchez Delgado, a 17-year-old student at the Universidad Veracruzana who was reported missing in Veracruz, has appeared in a video to state that she is safe and was not abducted.

Sánchez Delgado clarified that she left her home of her own volition to be with her partner, a relationship she claims has lasted several years. She asserted that she maintained communication with her family, including her mother and brother, via video calls and social media after leaving. She noted that her mother was aware of her well-being, despite the subsequent activation of a search notice by the Fiscalía General del Estado.

The student expressed fear regarding her return, alleging that she and the individuals currently protecting her have received threats of physical aggression and death. She claimed these threats included private information not available on the internet. Sánchez Delgado also disputed certain details circulated regarding her partner and stated she hopes to resolve the situation once the circumstances surrounding the search notice are clarified.
