Daniela Suárez wins gold at Junior Artistic Swimming World Championships

Spanish artistic swimmer Daniela Suárez secured a gold medal at the Junior World Championships in Budapest. Competing in the free duo alongside Naia Álvarez, the pair earned 298.6813 points to finish first, surpassing teams from China and Russia to claim Spain’s first gold of the competition.

In addition to the gold, Suárez earned three bronze medals. These were achieved in the technical solo, the technical team event, and the technical duo with Álvarez. The Spanish team narrowly missed a fifth medal in the acrobatic team routine, finishing in fourth place by less than half a point.
