DanielCanzian Ristorante reopens with Venetian-inspired redesign

DanielCanzian Ristorante in Brera has reopened following a summer hiatus with a renovated dining room designed to strengthen the connection between the chef’s cuisine and his Venetian roots. The interior redesign utilizes authentic materials and custom furniture by Riva1920, incorporating colors reminiscent of Venice and natural elements like brass.

A central feature of the new design is the use of Briccola, the traditional wood from the poles used in the Venetian Lagoon. This material is featured in the Venice console, a social table designed by Claudio Bellini and reinterpreted by Maurizio Riva and Daniel Canzian, which uses a curved extra-clear glass top to evoke the movement of water.

In addition to the dining room updates, the restaurant is expanding its evening hours starting in September to include an aperitivo inspired by Venetian tradition. The establishment also features La Cicchetteria di Daniel, which offers an informal dining experience with essential, recognizable traditional dishes.
