Daniele De Rossi docuseries ‘Radici’ presented at Rome Film Fest

The docuseries ‘Radici’, directed by Nicola Ravera Rafele, was presented at the Rome Film Fest. The series focuses on the life of footballer Daniele De Rossi and his connection to the Ostia region and the Ostiamare football club.

De Rossi, who rose to prominence with AS Roma and the Italian national team, began his career at Ostiamare. The documentary explores how the club, which has over eighty years of history, supported him following his departure as manager of Roma. It also highlights De Rossi’s recent efforts to invest in and revitalize Ostiamare, helping the club return to Serie C after a 35-year absence.

Produced by DDR Media and Damocle, with actor Valerio Mastandrea among the producers, the series will be available on Sky and NOW.
