Daniele Mascia wins Best Pandoro in the World title

Pastry chef Daniele Mascia has been named the winner of the Best Pandoro in the World at an international competition organized by the FIPGC in Naples. This achievement follows his previous success in Florence, where he secured first prize from both the jury and the public.

Mascia attributed the victory to technical precision, noting that his pandoro featured eight precise points, appropriate height, and a flat base. The judges highlighted the product's balanced aromatic profile, specifically the contrast between the caramelized crust and the internal notes of butter and vanilla, as well as a uniform crumb structure.
