Daniele Montevago scores first Serie B goal following birth of son

Modena striker Daniele Montevago experienced a significant week both personally and professionally. Following the birth of his first child, Massimiliano, on October 7, the 2003-born attacker scored his first goal in Serie B during a match against Hellas Verona.

Montevago entered the match as a substitute while Modena was trailing 2-1. He scored the equalizer to make it 2-2, before teammate Andrea Belotti secured a comeback victory for the side. Montevago dedicated the goal to his wife, Grazia, and his newborn son, noting the emotional difficulty of being away from his family during the birth.

The player expressed gratitude to manager Daniele Galloppa for allowing him time to be with his family and emphasized his determination to continue working hard despite limited playing time earlier in the season.
