Danielle Nicole releases fourth solo album ‘Fireflies’

Danielle Nicole has released her fourth solo studio album, titled ‘Fireflies’, through Forty Below Records. Recorded in Kansas City with producer Tony Braunagel, the 11-track project explores a blend of blues, soul, R&B, and American roots music.

The album features guest appearances, including Luther Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars on the track ‘Take Me Back’. Critics have noted the record’s stylistic influences, ranging from early 1960s female balladry and Motown-style R&B to soulful, bluesy arrangements reminiscent of classic studio warmth.
