Danielle Parton reveals her own cancer diagnosis

Danielle Parton, the niece of the late country music icon Dolly Parton, has revealed that she is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Danielle, who was recently named brand ambassador for Dolly Parton’s estate, shared that her diagnosis is at stage zero and was caught early.

Danielle noted that she first suspected her aunt was also battling cancer in August, shortly after sharing her own biopsy results with Dolly. According to Danielle, Dolly was devastated by the news of her niece's illness, a reaction that led Danielle to realize her aunt was also facing a private health struggle. Dolly Parton passed away on August 25 at the age of 80 following a battle with an undisclosed type of cancer.

As the brand ambassador for the estate, Danielle expressed her commitment to preserving her aunt's legacy and the values she left behind.
