Daniil Donchenko targets top 15 ranking at UFC Paris

Daniil Donchenko believes a decisive victory over Punahele Soriano at UFC Paris could secure him a position in the UFC middleweight top 15 rankings. The bout is scheduled for September 5 at the Accor Arena.

Donchenko, a former Ultimate Fighter champion, noted that Soriano presents the toughest test of his career due to his experience and strength. Soriano enters the matchup on a four-fight winning streak, including a victory over top-10 contender Uros Medic. Donchenko observed that while Soriano is tough, three of his recent wins have come via decision, suggesting that if Soriano cannot find success in the opening round, he may struggle to secure a knockout later in the fight.
