Daniil Giurtzidis reaches 200m medley semifinals in Paris

At the European Aquatics Championships in Paris, Greek swimmer Daniil Giurtzidis qualified for the semifinals of the 200m individual medley. Giurtzidis finished sixth in the fourth qualifying heat with a time of 2:00.12, securing the 16th fastest overall time.

Other Greek swimmers in the 200m individual medley included Iasonas Routoulas, who finished 21st with a new personal record, and Panagiotis Vlachogiannakos, who also set a personal record finishing 27th. Apostolos Papastamos finished 38th overall.

In the mixed 4x200m freestyle relay, the Greek national team finished fifth in their qualifying heat with a time of 7:45.17, placing them 9th in the overall standings and resulting in their exclusion from the final.
