Daniil Trifonov and Daniel Harding conclude summer tour in Santander

Pianist Daniil Trifonov and conductor Daniel Harding concluded their summer tour with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra at the Santander International Festival. The performance, which featured Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1 and Dvořák's Symphony No. 8, was met with enthusiasm from a sold-out audience.

The tour included stops in Wiesbaden, Torroella de Montgrí, Pollença, and San Sebastián. Critics noted the successful synergy between Harding's energetic conducting and Trifonov's intimate, contemplative approach to the piano. Following the tour, Harding is set to take over leadership of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
