Danijel Perić retires from football officiating in Bijeljina

Danijel Perić has officially retired from football officiating following his removal from the WWin Liga (Premijer liga BiH) A-list of referees. The 37-year-old referee officiated his final match during the Mladen Žižović Memorial tournament in Bijeljina, presiding over a game between Borac and Radnik.

Perić, who joined the top-tier list in 2023 and officiated between 13 and 15 matches as a head referee, expressed pride in his career. He stated that he remained true to his principles despite the pressures faced during his tenure. While he had initially considered transitioning into a role as a match controller, he will not appear on the First League list this season.
