Danilo Barbosa begins training with Grêmio

Midfielder Danilo Barbosa has begun training with Grêmio following his arrival in Porto Alegre. The 30-year-old joined the club as a free agent after his contract with Al-Ula in Saudi Arabia was terminated.

Barbosa has completed medical examinations and is expected to sign a contract running through December 2028. The club aims to finalize his registration by Friday to potentially include him in the squad for the upcoming match against Bragantino in the Brasileirão.

Grêmio management is also working to ensure the player is physically prepared for the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals against Internacional, scheduled for late August and early September.
