Danilo Nicoloso and Franco Morillo win Argentine touring car races
Local driver Danilo Nicoloso secured a victory in the ACCAL Turismo Carretera (TC) event at Luján, Argentina, completing 165.20 laps and finishing ahead of Adrián Simonetti and Juan Delgado, who took second and third places respectively. The race took place on a cold June night, with the podium reflecting a tight competition among the series regulars.
In a separate championship, Franco Morillo captured his third TC2000 win at the San Nicolás Ciudad circuit, driving the Chevrolet Tracker #64 for the YPF ELAION AURO Proracing team. Morillo led from the start, fending off a close challenge from Lucas Carabajal, and finished ahead of Matías Rossi and Valentín Yankelevich. He praised the team, saying, “Contento por lo logrado con el YPF ELAION AURO Proracing. Me entregaron un gran auto para la final del domingo,” highlighting the strong performance of his car throughout the race.
