Danish Air Show in Aalborg expects 125,000 visitors

The Danish Air Show is expected to attract up to 125,000 visitors to Aalborg Air Station on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The event will feature a variety of military aircraft, including the C-130J Hercules, Danish F-35 fighter jets, AgustaWestland AW101 helicopters, and the NATO E-3A AWACS. International participants include Eurofighter Typhoons from Spain and the United Kingdom, as well as the Airbus A400M Atlas from Germany.

To accommodate the large crowds, organizers have prepared 45,000 parking spaces and will provide free shuttle buses from the Aalborg Airport train station. Authorities, including the Danish Road Directorate, have warned of significant traffic congestion and potential delays in the North Jutland region, advising attendees to allow extra travel time. A dedicated spotter day is scheduled for September 12 to allow enthusiasts better opportunities for photography.
