Danish construction projects announced in Odense and Aalborg

Enemærke & Petersen has been selected to renovate Lærkeparken in Odense for the housing organization Civica. The project, valued at approximately 540 million DKK, is a total contract contingent on municipal approval. The renovation involves demolishing 136 homes to improve infrastructure and renovating 368 existing units. Improvements include better insulation, new ventilation, and updated kitchens and bathrooms to address issues with moisture and indoor climate. Additionally, 124 homes will be converted into accessible housing. Work on infrastructure is slated to begin in late 2026, with the full project expected to conclude in early 2030.

In Aalborg, construction is progressing on Den Grønne Arena, a new dance and movement center in Aalborg Øst. Built with a focus on sustainability, the facility utilizes wood and low-carbon materials. The project is a collaboration between Himmerland Boligforening, Aalborg Municipality, Realdania, and several foundations. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year, with activities gradually moving into the facility during the spring of 2027.
