Danish families engage in agricultural tourism

Families and visitors are participating in agricultural tourism in Denmark, visiting farms to learn about food production and interact with animals. At a 350-hectare farm in Stenstrup operated by Søren Hansen, visitors including children and grandparents engage in activities such as seeing cows and riding in tractors.

While the primary focus for guests is educational and recreational, the visits also provide an opportunity for dialogue regarding the agricultural industry. Farmer Søren Hansen expressed support for the ‘Green Tripartite’ agreement but noted that certain fertilization laws act as unnecessary obstacles. He emphasized the importance of cooperation and open communication between the agricultural sector and the public.
