Danish handball clubs prepare for Champions League matches

Danish handball clubs are preparing for significant EHF Champions League fixtures. Skanderborg AGF (SAH) is set to make its historic debut in the competition this Wednesday, facing defending champions Barça in an away match. Head coach Nick Rasmussen stated that the team intends to remain true to their playing style and use the opportunity to test themselves at the highest European level, despite facing early injury challenges.

Meanwhile, Aalborg Håndbold begins its Champions League campaign at home against Paris Saint-Germain. This season introduces a new format featuring 24 participating teams, up from the previous 16. Aalborg coach Simon Dahl emphasized the importance of being prepared from the start due to this expanded structure. While Aalborg recently defeated PSG in a pre-season friendly, the French side has held an advantage in their last three encounters.
