Danish handball players Jørgensen and Elver face new roles at Metz and Györ

Danish handball players Kristina Jørgensen and Helena Elver are entering new phases with their respective clubs, Metz Handball and Györ.

Kristina Jørgensen has returned to Metz after two seasons with Györ. While she previously enjoyed success at Metz, including French championships, she faces increased competition for playing time. The club's playmaker position is currently occupied by players such as Petra Vámos, Léna Grandveau, and Lylou Borg, meaning Jørgensen will need to compete to re-establish her role.

Meanwhile, Helena Elver is entering her second season with Györ following a successful first year where she won the Hungarian championship and the cup. Elver, a classic playmaker, is expected to take on an even more central role in the team's attack. She will be playing alongside several familiar faces and new additions, including Thale Rushfeldt Deila and Estelle Nze Minko.
