Danish handball stars Mette Gravholt and Camilla Dalby celebrated for historic wins
Mette Gravholt and Camilla Dalby have been prominent figures in Denmark's recent women's handball success. Both were part of the national team that claimed the bronze medal at the 2013 World Championship – the country's first medal at a major women's handball tournament since the 2004 European Championship silver.
Gravholt helped Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub (NFH) win its first Danish championship in 2017 and earned multiple All‑Star selections. Dalby amassed 108 caps and 303 goals for Denmark, won the EHF Champions League with Montenegro’s ŽRK Budućnost in 2015, and secured domestic titles with Randers HK.
Their careers, spanning clubs in Denmark, Germany, Romania, and Montenegro, underline the depth of talent that propelled Danish women's handball to new heights.
