Danish metal band Raunchy releases new single “Frostbite” ahead of 2026 album “Prisoner”

Danish modern‑metal group Raunchy has released "Frostbite", the fourth single and lyric video from their upcoming seventh studio album, Prisoner. The track blends crushing riffs, cinematic electronics and dual‑vocal melodies, and its lyrics depict the destructive cycle of emotional abuse, which the band says “portrays the haunting cycle of abuse in the form of an intoxicating, destructive love.”

"Frostbite" is now available on all major streaming services. It follows the previously issued singles “Designed Despair”, “Darkest Self” and “Frameworker”. The album Prisoner, scheduled for a summer 2026 release, will be issued by Mighty Music, the label that first signed Raunchy in 2001. Drummer Morten “Molle” Toft Hansen noted the significance of returning to Mighty Music after years with labels such as Nuclear Blast and Lifeforce. The new single premiered in Finland, ending a near‑decade silence for the band.
