Danish music celebrations announced for Spil Dansk week 2026

Denmark will celebrate Spil Dansk week in October 2026, featuring a variety of musical performances across different regions. In Viborg, the local libraries are hosting events including folk music by the duo En:1, performances by the Viborg Kulturskole, and a concert by the trio Den Gamle Sangskat at Stoholm Kirke, which will feature songs from artists such as Liva Weel and Otto Brandenburg.

In Copenhagen, the Spil Dansk and Copenhagen Municipality initiative UNG:Live will present a concert format designed to provide young artists with a platform to reach wider audiences. As part of this program, Emma Lunding is scheduled to perform at Krudttønden in Østerbro on October 27, offering a melodic pop experience focused on personal storytelling.
