Danish police report driving violations in Nexø and on Storebælt Bridge
Police in Denmark have addressed two separate driving incidents involving violations of traffic regulations.
In Nexø, Bornholm, a 17-year-old driver was fined 3,000 kroner after being stopped by Bornholm Police. The driver was operating a vehicle between 20:00 and 05:00 without a required legal companion over the age of 24 holding a Danish driver's license.
On the Storebælt Bridge, a 77-year-old German man was arrested and charged with reckless driving after driving in the wrong direction. The man reportedly turned his vehicle around near the Korsør toll station and headed toward Funen. Police intercepted the vehicle on the Vestbroen section of the bridge. Authorities noted that the incident appeared to be caused by health-related confusion rather than a deliberate act, and no injuries or vehicle damage occurred.
