Danish police seek suspect in series of thefts targeting elderly

Midt- og Vestsjællands Politi has released images of a man suspected of multiple criminal acts in the Holstebro and Vildbjerg areas. The suspect is believed to have defrauded an elderly woman of her payment card in Holstebro on a Friday afternoon, subsequently withdrawing 2,000 euros.

Police Chief Simon Skelkjær stated that investigators suspect the same individual is responsible for a similar incident in Vildbjerg on the same day, noting that the descriptions of the clothing worn in both cases are very similar. Authorities expressed concern that the perpetrator may continue committing crimes throughout the region and are urging citizens or business owners to contact the police if they recognize the individual.
