Danish police seize vehicle after driver arrested for high blood alcohol level

A 28-year-old man from Ringsted was arrested on Bobjergvej in Asnæs after police stopped his vehicle and recorded a blood alcohol level of 2.0. During the stop, police discovered the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was in possession of an illegal hobby knife.

A passenger from Holbæk was also arrested for refusing to comply with police instructions while attempting to film the encounter with a mobile phone. Following the incident, the vehicle was seized in accordance with reckless driving regulations.

In a separate incident, police in Esbjerg arrested two men from Sjælland after they were found in a vehicle filled with stolen goods following a diesel theft on Sallingsundvej. One of the men was also found in possession of a knife.
