Hansens Is advances to national Coop competition

Hansens Is has been selected to represent the Capital Region in the national ‘Medlemmernes favorit’ (Members' Favorite) competition organized by Coop amba. Over 22,000 Coop members participated in the regional voting, with Hansens Is securing 63 percent of the votes.

Annette Jorn, CEO of Coop amba, noted that the high level of support reflects members' desire to back local producers who create quality Danish food. The competition aims to provide recognition and increased visibility for small and medium-sized producers. The national voting phase will run from September 21 to October 18, where seven regional finalists will compete for the title.

Other regional nominees include Bornholmergrisen (Bornholm), Katrine & Alfreds (Funen), Højer Pølser (South Jutland), Thise Mejeri (Central Jutland), Thisted Bryghus (North Jutland), and Fejø Frugt (Zealand and South Islands).
