Danish sports clubs mark milestones in construction and history

Aabybro IF is progressing with the construction of its new 480-square-meter clubhouse in Aabybro. A topping-out ceremony was held on September 25 to mark the milestone. The project, which includes six changing rooms and a central community area called ‘Hjerterummet’, has a total cost of 12 million DKK, with Jammerbugt Municipality contributing 8 million DKK.

Separately, Aarhus Gymnastik Forening (AGF) is marking its 146th anniversary. Founded on September 26, 1880, the organization originally focused on physical exercise and weapon use before expanding into various sports including athletics, swimming, football, tennis, handball, and basketball over the decades.
