Danish theatre features new musical productions and nostalgic performances
Recent theatrical performances in Denmark highlight diverse musical and dramatic productions. The musical theatre piece ‘Pandemonium (or Dreaming of Paradise)’, produced by Ulk Productions, is currently touring following its premiere at BaggårdTeatret. Created by Emil Veber Rasmussen and composer Frederik Bak, the wordless production combines industrial sounds with classical chamber music and opera to tell a story of rebellion and freedom.
In another production at Sceneriet, Tommy Kenter performs alongside the Kentex Sisters. The show features a nostalgic atmosphere with musical accompaniment by Lone Selmer and Ann Farholt, incorporating elements of mime and jazz to support Kenter’s performance.
