Danmarksdemokraterne opposes Morsø budget closures

The political party Danmarksdemokraterne has proposed several amendments to the 2027 budget for Morsø Municipality to oppose planned structural changes and closures. Council member Meiner Nørgaard has submitted proposals to prevent the closure of the Lundkjærvej kindergarten in Nykøbing and the Majgården childcare center on Midtmors.

Additionally, the party is seeking to delay the potential closure of M. C. Holms Skole until there is more clarity regarding the distribution of a 500 million DKK state fund intended for schools in smaller communities. The party also aims to reverse a planned change to the allocation model for municipal care centers, which would involve adding 3 million DKK annually to the care sector for the 2027–2029 period.

To fund these initiatives, Danmarksdemokraterne suggests utilizing municipal funds from renewable energy installations and eliminating one position in technical operations.
