Danny Mullins fined €3,000 after Galway Races parade incident
At the Galway Races, jockey Danny Mullins was fined €3,000 for directing his horse, Tounsivator, to turn back in the parade ring, causing congestion and breaching race regulations. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board and race stewards also fined his uncle, trainer Willie Mullins, €500 each for related breaches.
The meeting, which runs from 27 July to 2 August, features 54 contests across both jump and flat disciplines, including the flagship Galway Plate. A detailed schedule lists daily race times and featured events such as the Guinness Galway Hurdle and the James’s Gate Irish EBF Median Auction Maiden.
