Danone and DomusVi partner to enhance elderly nutritional care

Danone and DomusVi have signed a national strategic agreement in Spain to enhance nutritional care within elderly care residences. The partnership involves Danone’s specialized nutrition division, Nutricia, as well as its dairy and water divisions.

Through this collaboration, DomusVi will progressively implement the ‘Cuida’ ecosystem across its network of centers, which serves more than 30,000 people. The program, endorsed by the Spanish Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (SEGG), focuses on individuals in states of fragility or vulnerability. The ecosystem includes expert nutritional screening, assessment, and monitoring, menu solutions, and family support.

Additionally, the initiative features the ‘Cuida’ digital platform for screening and tracking, alongside the ‘Nutricia Academy’ for professional training. The service is AENOR-certified under the UNE-ISO 9001 standard and will prioritize the most vulnerable and high-risk groups during its rollout.
