Danone USA recalls So Delicious dairy-free frozen desserts

Danone USA has issued a nationwide recall for So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints. The recall was initiated following consumer complaints regarding the potential presence of small stones and other hard foreign objects within the cashew clusters.

The affected products include all pints with best-by dates on or before April 3, 2028, specifically identified by SKU 136603 and UPC 744473476138. The desserts were distributed to various retailers across the United States, including Target and Whole Foods.

Health officials warn that consuming hard or sharp objects can cause traumatic injuries, such as lacerations or perforations of the mouth, throat, stomach, or intestines, as well as damage to teeth and gums. While the Hawaii Department of Health is working with local stores to remove the product, no injuries or illnesses related to this specific recall have been reported in Hawaii to date. Consumers are advised not to eat the product and can contact the So Delicious Consumer Care Line for a refund or replacement coupon.
