Dansk Folkeparti expels 11 members over suspected infiltration
Dansk Folkeparti (DF) and its youth wing, Dansk Folkepartis Ungdom (DFU), have expelled 11 members due to suspected infiltration. The individuals in question reportedly have ties to the Russian Orthodox Church in Copenhagen.
According to DFU chairman Mads-Magnus Damm, the group acted cohesively to isolate themselves from other members and sought to influence the organization by running for specific positions. Among those expelled were two individuals recently elected as local chairpersons for the youth party's branches in East and West Jutland.
DF's head of secretariat and organization, Kenneth Kristensen Berth, stated that the matter does not specifically concern Ukraine or Russia, though the expulsions took place following observations of the group conducting what was described as a religious arrangement during a DFU meeting last year.
