Dansk Folkeparti gains support in new Danish political poll

A new Epinion poll indicates a significant shift in the Danish political landscape, with Dansk Folkeparti (DF) seeing a rise in support. The party is currently polling at 14.3 percent, up from 12.3 percent in August.

This growth places DF at double the size of Venstre, which has seen its support drop to 7.1 percent, down from 9.3 percent in August. The shift has altered the power balance within the blue bloc, as Venstre is now being overtaken by several other parties, including Liberal Alliance, the Conservatives, and Danmarksdemokraterne.

DF group leader Peter Kofod expressed satisfaction with the results, describing the party's growth as an explosion, though he noted that there is still a long time until the next election.
