Dansk Folkeparti reaches highest support level in seven years
The Danish People's Party (Dansk Folkeparti) has reached its highest level of support in seven years according to the latest Voxmeter poll. The party currently stands at 12.4 percent, which would translate to 22 seats in the Folketing, up from 9.1 percent in the March election.
If these figures hold, Dansk Folkeparti would become the second-largest party in the Folketing, trailing only the Social Democrats, who sit at 21.1 percent. The rise follows a summer period where party leader Morten Messerschmidt has maintained a high media profile through various political statements and meetings.
Other right-leaning parties also showed growth in the poll. Venstre stands at 10.3 percent, Liberal Alliance at 9.6 percent, and Danmarksdemokraterne at 6 percent. Conversely, the Conservative People's Party and Borgernes Parti saw slight declines or remained stagnant.
