Dansk Industri to host summit on Denmark's national security

Dansk Industri (DI) will host its first Annual Day for Corporate and Societal Security on October 29, 2026, in Copenhagen. The event aims to address how Denmark can maintain societal functions amidst geopolitical instability, the war in Europe, and hybrid threats.

The summit will bring together politicians, government officials, and private sector leaders to discuss building a total preparedness system. Key participants include the Minister for Civil Protection and Emergency Management, Lisbeth Bech Nielsen, the head of PET (Danish Security and Intelligence Service), Rasmus Kieffer, and Laila Reenberg from the Danish Emergency Management Agency.

Discussions will focus on the role of the business community in national resilience and how companies managing critical infrastructure can navigate an intensified threat landscape. During the event, Dansk Industri is expected to launch new political proposals regarding national security.
