Dante bar opens permanent London location at Claridge’s

The award-winning New York institution Dante has established a permanent presence in London at Claridge’s hotel. Following a successful pop-up residency, the venue will now operate as Dante Mayfair.

Originally founded in Greenwich Village in 1915, the bar was revitalized in 2015 by Australian co-founders Linden Pride and Nathalie Hudson. Under their leadership, Dante was named the best bar in the world in 2019. The new London location aims to bring Manhattan-style energy to Mayfair, featuring New York Italian classics, signature Martini hours, and live music.

Claridge’s Managing Director Thomas Kochs noted that the team’s energy has resonated with Londoners, intending for the space to serve as a relaxed ‘living room of Mayfair’ with a buzzing atmosphere.
