Dante Delgado accuses Veracruz Governor Rocío Nahle of political persecution

Dante Delgado, former governor of Veracruz and leader of Movimiento Ciudadano (MC), has accused Governor Rocío Nahle of political persecution and using judicial institutions to intimidate opponents. During a press conference accompanied by former gubernatorial candidates Héctor Yunes Landa and Pepe Yunes, Delgado claimed that the current state administration is using legal processes as political instruments to target MC leaders.

Delgado criticized the administration's handling of security and electoral integrity, referencing past violence and alleging fraud in previous elections in northern Veracruz. He also signaled a shift in the regional political landscape, suggesting that the opposition is consolidating under MC as the traditional PRI and PAN influence wanes. The remarks also touched upon the potential for future leadership transitions and the political future of Nahle within the Morena party.
