Dante Ferretti exhibition in Gradara unveils Pasolini sketch collection

The exhibition "Dante Ferretti – Bellezza imperfetta, io e Pasolini" opened on 3 August at the MARV museum in Gradara, Italy, and will run until 13 September with free admission. It presents 30 original sketch drawings created by Oscar‑winning scenographer Dante Ferretti for the films of Pier Paolo Pasolini, alongside multimedia installations, film excerpts and, for the first time, a portrait of Pasolini’s mother, Susanna Colussi.

The event is supported by Cinecittà, the regions of Lazio and Marche, and the municipalities of Gradara and Naples. Ferretti himself attended the inauguration, sharing personal recollections of his long‑standing collaboration with Pasolini. After Gradara, the show is scheduled to travel to Rome, Naples and Pordenone as part of the Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2027 program.
