Dante Ferretti to open Macerata Eccellenze event

Oscar-winning production designer Dante Ferretti will return to his hometown of Macerata to inaugurate the three-day “Macerata Eccellenze” event. Organized by the local Pro Loco, the initiative aims to highlight the talents and stories of the region.

The program begins on Thursday at the Antichi Forni with “Il Maestro racconta Dante,” where Ferretti will discuss his professional artistic journey through personal reflections and imagery.

On Friday, the event continues with “Donnemente Live,” a session focused on female empowerment, covering topics such as physical awareness, financial autonomy, and communication. The series concludes on Saturday with “Le vie dei Monti Azzurri,” featuring writer Lucia Tancredi and narrator Neri Marcorè, who will present a special audio project dedicated to the lesser-known landscapes of the Macerata province.
