Dante Moore receives praise from teammates and coaches
Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore is receiving significant praise from both teammates and rival coaches following his performance as a starter. Transfer wide receiver Iverson Hooks, who joined Oregon from UAB, highlighted Moore’s leadership and work ethic, noting that the quarterback is often the last person to finish workouts and field sessions.
In addition to teammate endorsements, Big Ten coaches have lauded Moore’s presence, decision-making, and arm talent. After opting to return to Oregon rather than enter the 2026 NFL Draft, Moore is being projected as a potential top-five pick in the 2027 NFL Mock Draft. Last season, he recorded 3,565 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions with a 71.8 percent completion rate.
