Danube Fruit Growers Exhibition opens in Ruse

The ninth annual Danube Fruit Growers Exhibition opened at the Arena Ruse hall, focusing on innovation, sustainable development, and strengthening the link between local producers and consumers. The event highlights the strategic importance of the fruit-growing sector for the regional economy.

Deputy Mayor Encho Enchev noted that the Danube region possesses long-standing traditions and excellent conditions for fruit cultivation, where natural advantages meet modern agricultural technologies. The forum serves three primary purposes: showcasing high-quality local products to residents, facilitating direct sales to keep capital within the local economy, and fostering B2B cooperation and idea exchange among producers.

Over 40 participants are presenting modern agricultural machinery, innovative irrigation systems, high-quality planting materials, specialized fertilizers, and plant protection products. The exhibition also features advanced packaging and storage solutions. The event is organized by the Union of Danube Fruit Growers with support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the State Fund Agriculture.
