Danube House undergoes technological modernization in Prague
The Danube House office building in Prague's Karlín district is undergoing an extensive reconstruction to meet modern energy efficiency and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards. The project, managed by investor CA Immo and scheduled for completion between 2024 and 2026, aims to achieve LEED Platinum certification and an energy class B rating.
A key component of the modernization involves replacing the original heating and cooling systems with 3,220 Zehnder radiant ceiling panels connected to heat pumps. This new system is designed to reduce energy consumption, provide quieter operation, and improve the indoor environment by minimizing the need for high-intensity air exchange.
The renovation reflects a broader trend in Prague, where the transformation of industrial areas into multifunctional districts and the modernization of historical buildings are driving demand for advanced technical infrastructure and skilled electrical professionals.
