Danube River low water levels reveal lost ring near Lom

Low water levels in the Danube River near Lom have exposed the riverbed, leading to the recovery of a lost ring. A father and son, Ivan and Ioan Kostov, discovered the item while using a metal detector.

Ioan reported that the ring belonged to his girlfriend, Eva, and had been accidentally lost the previous day. In addition to the ring, the pair found 22 cents. Local residents have noted that the exposed riverbed attracts other metal detectorists searching for historical artifacts, such as Roman coins, blades, and spears.
