Danube river reveals archaeological finds amid cultural events in Dunaújváros

The Intercisa Museum has reported the discovery of several archaeological artifacts, including a rare statue fragment and carved stone pieces, revealed by the record low water levels of the Danube River.

In Dunaújváros, the József Attila Library is hosting various cultural events, including the closing of the Dezső Tóth exhibition and the opening of the ‘Ég és föld – a két Feltóti’ exhibition. The library will also host the eighth KönyvTér family program on September 5, featuring concerts, puppet theater, and crafts.

Other local cultural highlights include programs at the Hungarian Paper Museum and upcoming exhibitions by the Tonka brothers, who maintain strong ties to the Dunaújváros community through their artistic work.
