Dany Boon film ‘8 rue de l’Humanité’ to air on TF1

The film ‘8 rue de l’Humanité’, directed by Dany Boon and Laurence Arné, is scheduled for broadcast on TF1 on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 21:10.

Set in the 11th arrondissement of Paris during the Covid-19 pandemic, the comedy follows seven families who choose to remain in their apartment building while much of the city undergoes lockdown. The story explores the tensions and eventual solidarity that arise as neighbors with different lifestyles are forced to coexist under unstable sanitary conditions.

The cast includes Dany Boon as Martin, a hypochondriac; Laurence Arné as Claire; Yvan Attal as a scientist seeking a vaccine; and François Damiens as an entrepreneur. Director Dany Boon noted that the film features improvised moments, such as a scene involving a character opening a birdcage that was not part of the original script.
