Danylo Sikan scores decisive goal for Ukraine against Hungary

Ukrainian striker Danylo Sikan scored the decisive goal for Ukraine in a UEFA Nations League Division B match against Hungary. Sikan, who plays for RSC Anderlecht, secured the 1-0 victory with a header just before halftime following a cross from the left.

This marks Sikan’s second goal in eight appearances for the Ukrainian national team. His recent form follows a productive start to the season with Anderlecht, where he has recorded six goals in 14 matches across all competitions, including five goals during the Europa League qualifying rounds.

Sikan, who joined Anderlecht from Trabzonspor in January 2026 for six million euros, has established himself as a primary attacking option for his club. His performance alongside teammate Tawfik Bentayeb is being closely watched as Anderlecht looks to solidify its offensive lineup.
