Danza x la Identidad festival celebrates tenth anniversary in Argentina

The tenth edition of the Danza x la Identidad International Festival is set to begin this Saturday, running through November 13. The event will feature artistic works, interventions, and cultural activities across various venues in La Plata, the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, and the City of Buenos Aires.

Festival director Yamila Cruz Valla noted that the decade-long milestone represents the creation of a community space for reflection on memory and human rights. This year's programming includes a special tribute to Malvinas War veterans, featuring an artistic work designed to foster dialogue between movement and historical experience regarding sovereignty.

The festival maintains ongoing links with the Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo to promote reflection on Argentine history. All festival activities are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
