Dapaong: Five novices pronounce first religious vows
In Dapaong, Togo, five novices from the Brothers of Christian Instruction (FIC) pronounced their first vows on August 22, 2026, at the Saint-Paul Apostle of the Nations parish. The group includes two Togolese brothers, Hervé Nanmangue Djangbiegou and Victor Yendoubé Yamoule, and three Rwandan brothers, Dominico-Savio Nisingizwe, Emilien Nsanzumubyeyi, and Ephrem Uzayisaba.
During the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Abbé Pascal Djibongue, the novices committed to the vows of obedience, chastity, and poverty. Following a year of novitiate focused on community life and spirituality, the new members received the soutane, crucifix, and the Rule of Life as symbols of their religious consecration.
